If we meter and bill properties on your behalf at a development where you are a heat supplier, managing agent or housing association, please complete the form below. This will provide us with all the essential information about your residents, so we can get them set up with Insite Energy. 

Once submitted, we will review the details and confirm by email when the update is complete. If we need any additional information, we'll reach out directly.

Information of the individual submitting the form

Residency details

If no one has lived in the property before, select "First resident." If someone is moving out and a new resident is moving in, select "Change of residency", ensuring the corresponding move out form is completed. Please select the correct option to avoid delays.

Enter the date the resident becomes responsible for utility charges (usually the legal completion or tenancy start date). This date is used to calculate energy charges. Please write the date as DD/MM/YYYY, or select using the calendar.

Property information

Enter the name of the development the resident is moving into, as listed in the welcome brochure or development's microsite.

For flats, please enter the building name. For houses, please provide the street name.

Please enter the property's postcode.

Meter information

Enter the 8-digit number found on the energy meter associated with the property. A couple of examples can be seen in our FAQ.

If you have a read taken from a date other than the completion or tenancy start date, please add the date in the above box. This allows us to verify that we have the correct meter against the disclosed property. If you’re unable to provide a read from the completion or tenancy start date, and we have successfully verified the meter, we will take a remote reading from our systems, if possible.

For any additional utilities, please provide the utility type, meter serial number, and read. 

Resident's details

Provide the primary resident's full name (no initials).

Provide the primary resident's email address for set up on our customer portal. All residents follow an e-onboarding journey, unless they are vulnerable. If the resident doesn’t have an email address, please write 'N/A'.

Enter the primary resident's phone number.

Select any applicable vulnerabilities from the dropdown. If none, choose "Not applicable". For unlisted vulnerabilities, provide details in the "Other" field. Circumstances such as bereavement and financial instability will be considered case-by-case.

Provide the full name (no initials) of the secondary resident.

Enter the secondary resident's phone number.

List any additional residents here, including their full name, email, contact number, and vulnerabilities. For authorised contacts, provide their details here as well.
