Meet the Insite team
Gareth Jones
Gareth is Managing Director and founder of Fontenergy and Insite Energy. He has a long track record in designing and implementing profitable business models across a range of industries, firstly as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group and then operationally as Head of Strategy, then Asian COO, for the law firm Linklaters.
Since his move into the distributed energy sector in 2005, Gareth has been working on a number of low carbon energy projects ranging from mixed-use developments in the UK through to utility-scale PV installations in Italy.
Gareth has also worked on a number of projects with developers, RSLs and government organisations with respect to the commercial models that can be used to make distributed energy development economically viable.
Chris Stevens
Chris has 35 years industry experience involving housing, development, construction, maintenance and refurbishment, across a broad range of procurement types and involving health, education, housing and cross subsidy development.
Chris is a board director at Insite Energy.
Jeff Henton
Jeff has worked in the construction industry since 1978 and has lately been involved at Director level in managing large-scale, complex refurbishment schemes with residents in their homes. He brings his extensive experience of working closely with affordable housing residents and of managing Resident Liaison teams to Insite Energy where he has taken on the role of Client Service Director on the board of the company.
Peter Robertson
Peter has had a long and varied career in marketing and communications on both client and agency side, with over 20 years working internationally on blue-chipped brands for FTSE 100 companies or their US equivalents.
Peter is currently responsible for overseeing business strategy and for Marketing and Communications at Rydon. In addition he is the director responsible for CSR and Management Systems. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Casey Cole
Casey has worked in the distributed energy arena for nearly a decade. He has wide experience of projects from small mixed-use schemes to energy masterplans and has extensive experience of low-carbon energy systems. He is also a regular commentator in the low-carbon arena, a speaker at industry conferences and events, and has been a guest lecturer at Imperial College, London.
Casey is a board director at Insite Energy and is responsible for the technology related aspects of the business.
Barrie Beckett
Barrie has a wealth of experience built up in the maintenance industry over the past 30 years. He started his career as an electrician and has diversified along the way and worked in most disciplines associated with hard facilities management.
At Insite Energy Barrie oversees all aspects of O&M services and works closely with Jeff Henton in providing customer support through the call centre facility.
