In many cases our prepayment system can be retrofitted and make use of the existing heat meter. It can be installed at a convenient location on the inlet to the interface unit and only measures 210mm by 140mm by 120mm allowing it to fit into small locations.

"Private wire" is a term used to describe sites where the electricity distribution and supply is unlicensed (as allowed under the electricity exemption order). Small sites, generally under 1,000 homes can be exempt from licensing allowing the energy asset owner to sell electricity as well as heat directly to home owners. The legislation is overseen by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). DECC is considering modifying the regulations to require third party access. Yes, we provide a biomass procurement and delivery service including supervised delivery, giving you peace of mind on your biomass assets.
Photovoltaic cells are eligible for the feed-in tariff from April 2010. This is tiered by size and whether it is new build or retrofit, with guaranteed payments for up to 25 years. Contact us for more details.
Renewable heat incentive is payable on biomass heat, biogas, solar hot water, ground and air source heat pumps and biodiesel. It will be payable from April 2011 on installations that are accredited and installed post July 2009 and for up to 23 years depending on technology. Contact us for more details.
